A toxin receptor of zonula occludens Vibrio cholerae purified, having a molecular weight of about 45 kDa as determined by gel electrophoresis SDS-polyacrylamide and having an amino acid sequence N-terminal selected from the group consisting of ID SEQ: 1, SEQ ID NO.2 and SEQ ID NO: 3, or said receptor having a molecular weight of about 66 kDa, determined by gel electrophoresis SDS-polyacrylamide and an amino acid sequence N-terminal of SEQ ID NO 10.
