Pharmaceutical composition comprising: (a) a preparation of human factor VIIa or an amino acid variant of human factor VIIa having no more than 20 substituted, deleted or inserted amino acids compared to wild-type factor VIIa, and (b) a preparation of human factor VIII or a truncated form of human factor VIII, where (a) and (b) are the only hemostatic agents of the composition.
