An electrodeposition coating composition that isexcellent in bath stability and that can give a cured filmenhanced in hardness and an electrodeposition coatingprocess is provided.An electrodeposition coating composition to be usedin an electrodeposition coating process which comprisesthe electrodeposition step of immersing a substrate in anelectrodeposition coating composition and applying avoltage between the substrate as an anode or cathode anda counter electrode to thereby form a film of saidelectrodeposition coating composition on the surface of thesubstrate, andthe heating step of heating said film obtained in the aboveelectrodeposition step, andsaid electrodeposition coating composition comprisinghaving electrodeposition potentiality against the curingreaction of said film.
