The invention relates to a process for glueing sheets of veneer in multiplelayers oneabove the other and one behind the other to form LVL or plywood panels bycuringthe glue that is applied between the individual layers in a pressing processin aheated press. The invention consists of glueing and pressing the exteriorlayers of alayered package with high-temperature glue and the interior layers with low-temperature glue to form LVL or plywood panels, so that the heat applied tothelayered package decreases from the exterior to the interior.
