Anode (1) for anelectrochemical cell and methodfor the production thereof. Thisanode consists of a mixture ofelectron- and ion-conductingparticles. The ion-conductingparticles consist of oxides.The anode is made up insuch a way that that part (3)of anode located close tothe electrolyte (2) comprisessmall oxygen-ion-conductingparticles, whilst the part (4)located closer to the currentcollector comprises coarseroxide particles. By this meansit is possible to provide foroptimum adaptation to thevarious requirements whichare imposed in respect of thebehaviour of the anode locatedat the electrolyte or at thecurrent collector (6).
