A learning section (110) learns driver's driving characteristics based on an accelerator opening degree signal (ACC) when a curve determination signal (CV) from a navigation device is active and outputs the result of learning to a storage section (120) with the result of learning matched with a user ID (UID) from the navigation device. A threshold change section (130) reads from the storage section (120) a leaning value corresponding to the user ID (UID) and changes, based on the learning value, a switchover threshold used by a travel control section (140). The travel control section (140) switches between travel modes (EV mode, HV mode) based on the result of comparison between traveling power and the switchover threshold.
