The projector has a light source (21) emitting a monochromatic light signal (22) towards a lens system which converges an image (1) towards a filter wheel (24). The wheel rotates in a synchronous manner with the display of the image produced by a synthesized image generator (26). An illumination channel has a lamp (51) for increasing the luminance of the projector. The channel has a filter wheel (53) that reduces the transmission of the light in the wavelengths intensified by a vision system. The lamp and the wheel of the channel project the image for the night-time.
