A construction method of hepatic tissue engineering construct and the hepatic tissue engineering construct. The mesenchymal stem cells are pre- introduced separately into hepatocytes and vascular endothelial cells in vitro, then are filled in the tubular scaffolds both inside and outside with the bio-protein gels containing introduction factors, and are packed with the envelope to form the cells-matrix complex- The cells -matrix complexes are placed in the culture to produce the hepatic tissue-engineering construct comprising the vascular endothelial cells and hepatocytes. The present invention employs the mesenchymal stem cells to obtain the substantive seed cells of hepatic tissue engineering, which are combined with the appropriate bio-active materials to produce the assistant structure units for liver function. The hepatic tissue engineering construct could be transplanted into the hepatic failure patient and used for partial compensation/substitution of liver function, thus it would provides the new approach of therapy for the hepatic failure patient in addition to liver transplantation.
