Sensor arrangement for determining a rotor position of a rotor shaft of an electrical drive in a power steering system of a motor vehicle. The invention provides a sensor device having - an electrical drive (12) which has a number n of motor pole pairs, - at least two Hall sensors (5a, 5b) which are offset with respect to one another and are assigned to a common magnetic field transmitter ring (1) which is arranged radially with respect to an axis of rotation, wherein the field transmitter ring (1) has at least one pole pair comprising a magnetic north pole (2) and a magnetic south pole (3), and - each pole pair (2, 3) has fully sinusoidal magnetization, and - the field transmitter ring (1) is made from a material which can be magnetized and the magnetization of which is introduced artificially.
