The aircraft wing includes a main wing (301) with a pivoted rear edge (304) and an auxiliary lift flap (302) at the rear of the wing. The auxiliary lift flap is coupled to the main wing, and is arranged so that in its retracted position (300) it is against the wing, and in its extended position (310), forms an air gap with the main wing. The shaped and width of the air gap is adjustable.
