An aircraft wing comprises a main wing (301) with a pivotable trailing edge (304) and a lift-assisting flap (302) on the rear of the wing, wherein the lift-assisting flap (302) is coupled to the main wing (301) and is designed in such a way that in its retracted state (300) it rests against the main wing (301) and in an extended state (310) it forms an air gap (311) with the main wing (301).
