A bulk material mixing and distribution apparatus (10) comprises a container (18), an auger assembly (30) in the container and a distributor in communication with a container for distributing material from the container 18. The container has walls (20, 22, 24, 26) defining opposite outer volumes (50) and intermediate volume (52) between the opposite outer volumes. The auger assembly comprises respective outer auger members (46) in the respective outer volumes (50) arranged to urge material towards the intermediate volume (52). An intermediate auger member (54) in the intermediate volume (52) is arranged to urge material towards at least one of the outer volumes (50). A series of vanes are provided in the intermediate volume to urge material towards the material distributor (58).
