The invention relates to a mobile leading-edge flap (16) of an aircraft aerofoil element. The inventive flap comprises an aerodynamic skin (18) with a front region (24), an upper surface portion (22) and a lower surface portion (20), as well as a plurality of stress-generating ribs (40) which are spaced out along the longitudinal axis of the leading edge (X). According to the invention, each of the stress-generating ribs comprises an upper part (44) and a lower part (50) which are respectively solidly connected to the upper surface and lower surface portions (22, 20) of the aerodynamic skin (18). In addition, each of said ribs (40) is also equipped with a front part (42) which is disposed at a distance from the above-mentioned front region (24).
