REGENERATOR FOR STIRLING ENGINE AND STIRLING ENGINE USING SAME

In a Stirling engine, a working gas is moved between a compression space and an expansion space by a piston and a displacer. By this, a high-temperature side heat transfer head is heated and a low-temperature side heat transfer head is cooled. A regenerator provided between the compression space and the expansion space has a wound laminate of resin film, and the wound laminate is obtained by winding a PEN film with a predetermined gap between individual windings. The thickness of the PEN film is set in a range from about 20 μm to about 25μm.
