The method involves determining a relationship between the diameter (PS) of the pupil and the two coordinates with a specified distance from the centre of the pupil relative to the center (a) of the limbus in the eye. The coordinates are determined for a variety of laser pulses relative to ablation centre. The diameter of the pupil is measured for lighting and mapping coordinates. The steps are repeated with the same lighting conditions.
