The present invention relates to a system for controlling the load split between the axles (2, 3, 4, 6) and thereby the theoretical wheelbase of a vehicle (1) having two front axles being suspended in suspension units (14) at least some of which have springs with adjustable stiffness. The invention also relates to a method for controlling the load split between the axles and to a motor vehicle comprising such a system and/or by use of such a method.
