A sliding nut of a puller is provided to be applied to a general gear puller and a single body puller as well, thereby improving the convenience in work. In a gear puller(1), a female screw part of a puller yoke(2) is formed as a through hole of a puller screw(3). A gear puller type sliding nut(6) has an insertion hole of a rectangular shape at the rear part thereof to be inserted into the center of the puller yoke. In a single body puller(8), a female screw part is formed as a through hole to insert a sliding nut(10). A washer(12) is inserted into the rear part of the sliding nut. A snap ring is fitted to a snap ring groove. Semi-circular grooves are formed on the inner surface of the through hole and the outer surface of the sliding nut of the single body puller respectively. A circular key is inserted into a circular groove of the sliding nut of the single body puller.
