A printer for displaying job request information through bluetooth and a method of displaying jot request information in the printer are provided to display information on a bluetooth profile used by a user and information on a job request processing state when a job request is transmitted to the printer through bluetooth to prevent an undesired job from being performed. A printer for displaying job request information through bluetooth includes a bluetooth connector(1002), a profile analyzer(1004), a profile handler(1005), a display unit(1006), and a controller(1008). The bluetooth connector performs bluetooth connection with a host(10'). The profile analyzer analyzes a bluetooth profile used by a user in the host. The profile handler handles the operation of the bluetooth profile and determines the state of a job according to the corresponding profile. The display unit displays information of the profile analyzed by the profile analyzer and the state of the job according to the profile determined by the profile handler. The controller controls the profile analyzer, the profile handler, the display unit and the overall operation of the printer.
