A METHOD TO REPORT OPERATING STATE OF A HIGH VOLTAGE BATTERY RELAY FOR VEHICLE

A method for reporting an operating state of a high voltage battery relay for a vehicle is provided not to use a sound insulation material for shielding an operation sound of a relay by recognizing the operation sound of the relay as a normal operation sound. A relay for a high voltage battery operates a high voltage battery system by a car control unit. The car control unit determined whether or not a key starting state is triggered(S100). If the key starting state is triggered, the car control unit generates a relay 'ON' command(S200). When the relay 'ON' command is generated, an operation of the relay is notified to a driver(S300). After notifying the operation of the relay to the driver, the relay is turned-on(S400). When the relay is turned-on, the notifying state is canceled(S500). When the car control unit dose not perform the relay 'ON' command, it is determined whether or not the car control unit generates a relay 'OFF' command(S210). When the 'OFF' command is generated, the relay OFF is notified to the driver(S230). After notifying the relay OFF to the driver, the relay is turned-off.
