APPARATUS FOR DEWATERING AND SEPARATING SOLIDS CONTAINED IN SLURRY-FORM LIVESTOCK WASTE WATER AND METHOD FOR OPERATING THE SAME

An equipment for solid-liquid separation and dewatering of slurry type livestock wastewater is provided to maintain and manage the equipment easily, prevent a breakage phenomenon of a wedge filter, and minimize concentration of fine particles in separated water, that is, suspended solids, and a method for operating the equipment is provided. An equipment for solid-liquid separation and dewatering of slurry type livestock wastewater comprises: an inflow part(10) into which slurry type livestock wastewater is flown by a pump; an extrusion screw(20) for compressing the slurry type livestock wastewater that has flown in from the inflow part by rotary power to transfer the slurry type livestock wastewater in one direction; a power transmission part(30) having a motor for transmitting power to the extrusion screw to rotate the extrusion screw; and a dewatering part(40) which has a wedge filter(41) for separating solids and water from livestock wastewater transferred from the inflow part to discharge water to the outside, a discharge space(43) spaced from an outer side of the wedge filter in a predetermined distance, and a water discharge port(45) formed at a predetermined position in the discharge space thereof. The equipment further comprises a water supply device disposed within the dewatering part to spray water onto the wedge filter, and an opening-and-closing device(90) for optionally opening or closing a solid discharge port formed in the other side of the dewatering part. Further, a filter unit is contained at one side of the water discharge port in order to filter water discharged from the water discharge port.
