BODY BIASING CONTROL CIRCUIT USING LOOKUP TABLE AND BODY BIASING CONTROL METHOD THEREOF

A body biasing control circuit using a lookup table and a body biasing control method using the same are provided to independently control body voltages associated with plural macro blocks which are shared with the circuit. A lookup table(41) stores plural indexes, each index indicating a body voltage appropriate for an operating state of a corresponding macro block of plural macro blocks(100,200). A control unit(43) receives the indexes from the lookup table, and generates plural body voltages appropriate for an operating state of a macro block corresponding to at least one index to supply the body voltages to the macro block. A power management unit(45) is adapted to read the indexes from the lookup table, and supplies the indexes to the control unit.
