An image capturing device having a hand shake correction function, a hand shake correction method, and a storage medium storing a hand shake correction program are provided to make a hand shake correction with high precision by including an image sensor, an image data generating unit, a shooting control unit, a base image selecting unit and a correction processing unit. An image capturing device(10) having a hand shake correction function comprises an image sensor(12), an image data generating unit, a shooting control unit(13), a base image selecting unit and a correction processing unit(23). The image sensor photo-electrically converts light received from an image capturing target, and outputs the converted data. The image data generating unit generates image data based on the converted data. The shooting control unit outputs exposure control information to the image sensor and captures a plurality of pieces of image data in response to a shooting command. The base image selecting unit selects a base image which is used when alignment is made from the pieces of captured image data. The correction processing unit makes alignment of the pieces of captured image data based on the selected base image, and generates one piece of image data by synthesizing the pieces of image data based on the result of the alignment.
