METHOD AND SYSTEM FOR FIGURE AND THE AMOUNT OF MATERIALS CALCULATION PROGRAM FOR DESIGN VESSEL USING DESIGN PROGRAM

A system and a method for integrating programs for calculating figures and material amounts in order to design ships are provided to minimize working errors by using one integrated program in place of conventional plural Excel programs. A method for integrating programs for calculating figures and material amounts comprises the following several steps. A design management unit sets at least one among accommodation design, pipe outfitting design, steel outfitting design, machinery outfitting design and R&D program design wherein the accommodation design is for calculating structure and shape information of a ship, the pipe outfitting design is for connecting devices to one another by using pipe parts as ruled in a process, the steel outfitting design is for designing an anchor, a captive balloon and various pipes, the machinery outfitting design is for designing capacity of a pump and a heat exchange according to shipping service conditions(S2). The design management unit determines whether or not a value is inputted in correspondence with at least one among the accommodation design, the pipe outfitting design, the steel outfitting design, the machinery outfitting design and the R&D program design(S3). The design management unit calculates a design shape of a ship by using the inputted value and the set design program(S7). The design management unit outputs the design shape via an output unit(S9).
