EXHAUST GAS TREATMENT APPARATUS USING AN ACTIVATED CARBON FIBER

An exhaust gas treatment apparatus using an activated carbon fiber is provided, wherein the activated carbon fiber can enhance adsorption efficiency since the activated carbon fiber is excellent in adsorptive power relative to volatile organic compounds, and the activated carbon fiber can be reused since the activated carbon fiber is excellent in the recycling ratio. An exhaust gas treatment apparatus using an activated carbon fiber comprises: a plurality of filtering equipment(30,31) to which an exhaust gas supply line(10) and a high temperature air supply line(20) are connected, the filtering equipment(30,31) including chambers(32) into which exhaust gas supplied by the exhaust gas supply line is injected, and filters(33) installed in the chambers and formed from an activated carbon fiber that adsorbs volatile organic compounds contained in the injected exhaust gas; and a recovery line(40) for recovering the evaporated volatile organic compounds after evaporating volatile organic compounds that have been adsorbed onto the filters using air with high temperatures supplied by the high temperature air supply line, wherein the filters are regenerated such that the filters can be reused, and the filters are regenerated in the other filtering equipment(31) while volatile organic compounds are adsorbed onto the filters in one filtering equipment(30).
