One device and a kind of type of document for identification simultaneously identify counterfeit money by extracting the method for being arranged to simplify configuration reflection and infiltration image. Identify document type a device and the use of the identification counterfeit money of an image sensor includes first and second electron gun (510,520), an image sensor (540), an image extraction unit (550), an image separation unit (560) and a determination unit (570). The both sides of first and second electron gun implemented different illumination statements of radiation in opposition to each other. Image sensor receive reflection after light from or penetrate bill. Image extraction unit generates an accumulative image of bill, uses the light for deriving from image sensor. The accumulative image of bill is divided into reflection and infiltration image by image separation unit, is divided into data reflecting and permeating image. Determination unit determines the type of document and is based on comparing forged banknote reflecting and permeating pictorial data compared with reference data.
