An intersection structure and a signal control method are provided to process vehicle flows and passenger flows smoothly by effectively adjusting a traffic signaling time. A main road, which is in a north to south direction, has a traffic island in a center portion of a road. First to sixth crosswalks connect between sidewalks and the traffic island or between respective sidewalks. A first display turns on a green light of first, third, and fifth crosswalks(11,13,15) with left turn and straight lights for vehicles from a south. A second display turns on a green light of second and fourth crosswalks(12,14) with left turn and straight lights for vehicles from an east. A third display turns on a green light of the first and fifth crosswalks with left turn and straight lights for vehicles from a west. A fourth display turns on a green light of second, fourth, and sixth(16) crosswalks with left turn and straight lights for vehicles from a north.
