A method for removing the fishy smell of fish oil is provided to prevent the useful nutrients of fish oil from being chemically changed in the fishy smell removing process by controlling pressure and temperature without using additives. A method for removing the fishy smell of fish oil comprises the steps of: (i) solidifying the ingredient of fish oil by cooling; (ii) reducing the pressure around the solidified ingredient to 1torr or below; and (iii) raising the temperature of the solidified ingredient to remove a gas generating in the pressure range for the generation of a fishy smell. The steps (i) to (iii) are circularly repeated two or more times. The step (iii) comprises applying voltage to a gas collecting container with electrodes to collect the gas into the container.
