A study assist robot adopting HRI(Human Robot Interaction) techniques by teacher's intervention in a classroom is provided to improve the quality of lessons and increase the understanding of students by outputting the proper image or sound content through a content execution unit while giving a lecture. In a study assist robot(100) adopting HRI techniques by teacher's intervention in a classroom, an input unit(10) is disposed in the classroom to transmit a command of a teacher to the robot through a cable or a wireless communication including a remote controller. A presenter choosing unit(20) selects a presenter in the classroom by randomly choosing the specific member using information on members input according to the command of the teacher and then transmits the presenter information to the teacher or members. A time management unit(30) embeds a timer, checks and transmits the starting and finishing time of a lesson, the exam finishing time, or the break time to the teacher or members. A message output unit outputs a command including feedback information such as praise and correct and incorrect answers, as sound or images. A control unit(50) receives the teacher's command input by the input unit and controls each unit.
