A glow plug, a Teflon insulation washer for the glow plug and a method for manufacturing the glow plug are provided to maintain a function of the glow plug even when heat is not effectively discharged to the outside by adopting the Teflon insulation washer. A method of a Teflon insulation washer(3) for a glow plug(200) comprises a first process, a second process and a third process. In the first process, a Teflon rod is heated in an extrusion type heater at a temperature of 100 to 200 degrees for about 5 to 30 minutes, and then the extruded Teflon rod is cut into a predetermined length to form a washer body. In the second process, the washer body is input into the molding to form the Teflon insulation washer. In the third process, the Teflon insulation washer is slowly cooled to the room temperature.
