Nuclear fuel assembly comprising fuel rod end plug to increase fuel rod internal volume and to support fuel rod spring

A nuclear fuel assembly including a fuel rod end plug to increase an internal volume of a fuel rod and to support a fuel rod compression spring is provided to reduce buckling of the spring by supporting the spring to a groove of an upper fuel rod end plug in charging the spring. A nuclear fuel assembly includes a cladding tube, a nuclear fuel pellet(3), an upper fuel rod end plug(6), a lower fuel rod end plug, and a compression spring(4). The upper and lower fuel rod end plugs are coupled to upper and lower parts of the cladding tube and support the nuclear fuel pellet. The upper fuel rod end plug includes an expansion groove(61) at a lower end supporting the spring. The expansion groove has a larger diameter than an outer diameter of the compression spring so that an upper end of the compression spring is inserted. The lower fuel rod end plug includes an expansion groove on an upper end.
