The new access method in the treatment of lung cancer are realized by extending the thoracotomy through the fourth intercostal incision medial to the midline of the sternum, and then vertically upwardly from the subsequent partial longitudinal-transverse sternotomy; which opens up access to limfometastazam mediastinal and paratracheal areas without changing the initial position of the patient.
