FIELD: diagnosing nuclear and thermal power station equipment; measuring stress in base metal and welded joints of their structural members.;SUBSTANCE: proposed device has metal stress measuring transducer. The latter in made in the form of metal plate characterized in low conduction electron density, for instance bismuth plate. The latter is secured on pipeline surface. Other metal plate of high conduction electron density, for instance copper, is fixed on free surface of pipeline. Instrument is connected to this plate and used to measure electric signal generated at coolant impact thrusts.;EFFECT: ability of metering stress in base metal and welds of nuclear and thermal power station structural components.;1 cl, 1 dwg
