METHOD FOR STUDYING INTERHEMISPHERIC AUDITORY ASYMMETRY

FIELD: medicine, psychology, psychophysics.;SUBSTANCE: the present innovation deals with predicting focal cerebral lesions and, particularly, otoneurological sphere, for studying functional cerebral state and, also, for evaluating the degree of mental fatigue. Through head telephones one should dichotically supply the series of acoustic clicks. Moreover, one should apply the series out of five pairs of acoustic clicks at sequence period being 100 msec. Acoustic pairs should be supplied simultaneously, and in the third pair one should match minimal interaural temporary delay that causes the feeling of acoustic image shift to the right and then to the left. According to the results of the comparison conducted for right- and left-sided values of the obtained delays one should determine the degree of interhemispheric auditory asymmetry. The innovation widens the number of means applied for studying interhemispheric sensor asymmetry.;EFFECT: higher efficiency.;1 ex
