FIELD: electrical engineering; manufacturing semiconductors from niobium-titanium alloy using rod-shaped intermediate products and cold plastic deformation method.;SUBSTANCE: proposed composite method for producing rod-shaped intermediate product by way of cold plastic deformation includes production of single- or multi-fiber round-section superconducting copper rods of relatively great length, assembling of mentioned rods around cylindrical copper core using assembly templates in the form of open book and adjusted to slide along assembly table. Templates are provided with circularly arranged through holes to support rods and central through seat to support core. Metal supporting rings are fitted onto both ends of assembly to provide for metal tube sliding as it is put onto mentioned assembly and the latter is subjected to several stages of cold drawing to obtain rod-shaped intermediate product of desired size.;EFFECT: improved performance characteristics of superconducting cables.;13 cl, 5 dwg
