The end face of the rod guide portion has a conical taper. In the working part of the rod is a cavity and perforation for entry of drugs into the medullary canal and the fracture zone. The rear part of a bonnet is intended to prevent migration of the rod into the medullary canal. The cap has a central opening and is connectable with the cavity in the working section for drug administration (Fig. 2).
