The method for the production of molded parts e.g. rail vehicles, comprises mechanical vertically, casing-freely constructing mold wall (12) made of flowable mold wall-material and of rear wall (14) made of flowable rear wall-material horizontally spaced apart to the mold wall, and filling up of a wall intermediate area (13) with a gap filling (16) of a flowable-filling material, so that the mold wall and the rear wall are hardened. The filling material is different from the mold wall-material. The rear wall material is identical with the mold wall-material. The method for the production of molded parts e.g. rail vehicles, comprises mechanical vertically, casing-freely constructing mold wall (12) made of flowable mold wall-material and of rear wall (14) made of flowable rear wall-material horizontally spaced apart to the mold wall, and filling up of a wall intermediate area (13) with a gap filling (16) of a flowable-filling material, so that the mold wall and the rear wall are hardened. The filling material is different from the mold wall-material. The rear wall material is identical with the mold wall-material. The construction of the molded part is made of multi separable modules. Before filling up the wall gap a partition wall is constructed between the mold wall and the rear wall. Both the mold wall and the rear wall are constructed with fine solution. A material treatment of the mold wall is carried out after the hardening of the mold wall. Independent claims are included for: (1) a device for the production of molded parts; and (2) a molded part of larger dimensions.
