The vehicle has a support structure pivotably attached to a closure unit such as a rear flap and a cover or door, by a hinge device (20), where the flap is provided between closed and opened positions. The hinge device has a preset break point (39), which breaks in case of collision such that a part of the device is moved into the structure. The part of the device is firmly connected with the unit after breaking the break point. The device has a local cross section constriction at an area of the break point that is provided at a hinge bracket (28) of the device.
