The intermittent after clarification for sludge activation plant for purification of municipal and industrial wastewater, comprises positioning the after clarification basin (1) in sludge activation reactor and discharging clear water body by decanter (5) after termination of discharge process in the after clarification basin. Lockable openings are incorporated in the wall of the after clarification basin and are automatically opened and closed by valves and flaps. The openings are locked in reaching a certain accumulation target in the activation reactor and the after clarification basin. Pumps are installed in the after clarification basin to promote recirculating quantity from the after clarification basin to the activation reactor after the decantation phase. The lockable openings are again opened after the evacuation of the recirculating quantity by an upper accumulation target in the sludge activation reactor for flowing the wastewater and the sludge-activated-mixture flows from the reactor into the after clarification basin. A residual volume remains in the clarification basin. The excess sludge is drawn-out from the clarification basin after the discharge- and decantation phases. The floating sludge is drawn-off by an overflow cup during the decantation phase. The sludge activation reactor is accumulated during the clarification process. The intake is carried out into the clarification basin through pipettes. The pipette receives automatic ventilation in order to terminate the filling process through opening of the ventilation in reaching a maximum accumulation target in the clarification basin. The pumps are concentrically operated on the base and are arranged to a revolving haunch.
