The vehicle has a drive strand (2) propelling a set of propelable wheels (4), and a brake assembly (3) decelerating the wheels. An operatable brake pedal (18) and a brake control equipment (20) exhibit manipulation of brake mechanisms (17). Manipulation of the pedal is divided for following an operational field (24) into another operational field (23), and one field begins during an unactuated starting position (27) of the pedal. The control equipment is arranged for stopping brake performance of the brake mechanisms in dependence of the pedal manipulation of one of the operational fields.
