The method involves manufacturing a machine winding e.g. stator winding, by windings. Single windings for poles (U1-U4, V1-V4) of a phase is wound with a conductive material for producing a phase winding. The single windings taken off from a supply of the poles for another phase is produced by the windings. A connection formed between two phase windings is separated from individual connections at the phase windings after the winding.
