The instrument for the measuring the concentration of CO2 in gases has a solid electrolyte (8), measurement electrode (9) and the reference electrode (10) as disk-shaped pellets of sintered corundum. The pellets are in a stack across the axis of the hollow tube (13) containing them, pressed together by insulation strips (1,2) and secured by a socket (16).
