The sensor has two electrodes (3, 4), a reference electrode (9) and two gas channels (13), where the two electrodes are arranged in one gas channel and the reference electrode is arranged in the other channel. The electrodes are arranged on a substrate (2) that is made of yttrium oxide or zirconium oxide. The reference electrode is an oxygen electrode and is made of platinum. The electrodes are made of material compound that contains gold, transition metal oxide and/or mixed oxide.
