The system (1) has a hydraulic actuating device (2) and a hydraulic brake device (3), which is arranged at a wheel. A monitoring device is provided at a distance to the brake device for displaying brake pad strength. An automatic brake pad adjustment is provided at a moving unit of the actuating device. A movement sensor is provided for measuring the actuating path at a brake lever (30) or at a sensor piston of the actuating device. A wear display is designed for storing present actuating path.
