The brake (1) has brake levers (2, 3) exhibiting two friction brake linings (5, 6), where the brake levers are arranged lateral to a brake disc (4). The brake levers are rotatably supported against simultaneous rotation of the brake disc with lateral distance from the brake disc and behind the frictional brake linings. The brake linings exhibit a thickness, which is reduced in a preferential rotational direction (9) of the brake disc. The friction brake linings exhibit a convex frictional surface in a new condition.
