The operating plate has a basic housing (1) with a wall light (2), in which LED lights are used as illuminant or other light source with small heat development. The glass front of the wall light is equipped with advertising inscription. An electrical push-button (3) or an infrared sensor (4) is provided for contact-less rinsing of the toilet, in which the basic housing is integrated.
