The platform (1) has two support arms (3, 4), and a hydraulic cylinder provided as an actuating drive at a supporting frame (6), such that the platform is pivotable from a closing position lying vertically at a vehicle body (13) to an opening position running base-parallel in a usage level. The opening and/or closing positions of the platform is provided by a control having a sensor. The control has a control function that causes a connection-free attachment of the platform to the vehicle body and is additionally activated during a rear displacement of the platform.
