The method involves using small-sized, evacuated container, where inner dimensions marginally exceed the outer dimensions of the vacuum chamber. The containers are connected with high capacity vacuum pumps over assigned hoses or pipe. The vacuum is created inside the container within a few minutes. Two half-shells of the container close the vacuum interrupter chamber. An electromagnet with iron core is applied outside the upper end of the half-shell, where changing the polarization rotates a magnetic field. A mechanical movement is also triggered in the closed and evacuated chamber. An independent claim is also included for a method for controlling a conveyor installation.
