The valve (10) has an input shaft (14) arranged inside a valve sleeve (12) and moved relative to the valve sleeve around a common axis (A). The valve sleeve and the input shaft are provided with axially aligned control slots (16, 18). The slots form a control gap (20), which has different gap widths in a center position of the valve. The control slot (16) is provided such that a connection to a hydraulic fluid reservoir (28) is provided. A pressure curve of the valve is changed by modification of gap widths.
