The method involves performing a form-changing process based on a set of processing parameters relevant for a target shape (20) of a bore for measuring a produced initial shape of the bore. Deviations of the initial shape from the target shape are determined, and correct data are determined based on the deviation. Another set of parameters is determined based on the data.
