The system has applicator (1) e.g. laser light applicator, coupled to a control device (12) and configured to deliver treatment signals of different types corresponding to control signals of the control device. A storage device (13) electronically stores a treatment library with treatment samples related to diagnosis and therapy. A selection device (14) is configured to detect the treatment samples selected by a user and provide electronic selection information. The control device is configured to produce a control signal corresponding to the electronic selection information. An independent claim is also included for a method for operating a treatment system.
